Outstanding cuisine and dining/stateroom by
Suze from Bay St. Louis, MS Sailing date: Aug 2007Pros: Dining! This was our first cruise. We were happy with the experience. While there were elements that were not perfect (activities, entertainment, in-port experience). We were very happy with the dining experience and stateroom/pampering. Stateroom QualityGreat stateroom steward/staff.
Ship Staff QualityHard working, capable, friendly, knew our names.
Entertainment & ActivitiesActivities: Hours weren't perfect for us. Good facilities.

Cozumel, MexicoCozumel is still recovering from recent storms.
Damage is still apparent. In additon, shopping near the point of disembarkation may disappoint. The beach we visited was nice though and the beach package was fine.

Cozumel, MexicoCozumel was so beautiful.
We went to see some caverans, a beach resort and ate some great food. I definitley have no complaints.

  Ok trip. by
Rodney from Dallas, TX Sailing date: Aug 2007The room was in the back and all I could hear were those blasted engines. I would have not gone on the cruise if I had knows. The in-house movie selection was great and staff was friendly. The time in Florida was too short. Plus I did not know I was going there until we arrived. Dining/Food
Stateroom QualityThe guys that took care of the room were really attentative, the room placement was horrible, if I had known, I would have opted to not take the cruise.

Entertainment & ActivitiesActivities: Cancelled the midnight comedy shows and there were no replacement.

Costa Maya, MexicoSmall but fun.
Cost Maya was small and we didn?t have a lot of time there. But we had fun on the beach. The food was eat there was good and they kept the drinks coming.
Don't Miss: In costa maya, get a margarita any flavor at cats meow. Cozumel, MexicoMust do excursion.
If you must do a excursion do it in cuzumel, there are a variety of things to do. Flexible pricing.

Lots to do, great service! Excellent Foo by
Carol from London, ON, Canada Sailing date: Apr 2007Pros: Staff. I was disapointed in the number of times we were offered a credit card application under the ruse of a raffle. The Shows were high school grade. Entertainment & Activities
Entertainment: Shows were cheesey, comedians and cruise director were great.

Costa Maya, MexicoExcellent - very hot and humid, we were glad we chose the shoter excursion for the ruins in such weather.
Not bad - just hot. The bus did not have very good A/C. I would mention to cruisers to have tip money with you at all times - they all took US$.
Cozumel, MexicoXcaret was great - so was our Guide. The FOOD was extremely expensive! $24 US for lunch buffet - way out of line. Pop served in cafeteria was poured - ask for bottled, no ice.
Ride to mainland was rough. Great day. Great Guide. My friend had some cash picke pocketed ($55 US).
Don't Miss: Under ground river swim - use flippers. 2 out of 3 people found this review helpful.

  Nice getaway. by
Angie from Cleveland, OH Sailing date: Mar 2007Pros: Entertainment, lots of opportunities for sittings with professional photographers. We were looking for a short cruise out of the port of New Orleans. Really enjoyed this as an alternative to Florida ports. It is an older ship so we knew we wouldn't have some of the luxuries of newer ships, knowing this it met our expectations. Alcohol was more expensive then I remember. We were very happy with entertainment. Staff was very friendly, but not very personable-which I have found true for most of the shorter cruises. Overall, satisfied with this cruise for the price. Entertainment & Activities
Entertainment: Something for everyone.

Cozumel, MexicoHave a plan "B".
Our dive trip which we booked through cruiseline was cancelled. Disembarkation took forever in Cozumel so by the time we got off the ship the local dive boats had already left for the morning. We found a snorkel trip that we enjoyed but we specifically picked Cozumel as a destination because of its' diving so we were very disappointed.
Don't Miss: Snorkeling/diving and designer watches!!! 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful.

  Filled the Bill. by
Diane from Altamonte Springs, FL Sailing date: Sep 2006Pros: The wide variety of activities, places to spend time on board, interesting variety of ages of people all having a good time. We were so tired when we boarded and so refreshed and relaxed and well-cared for when we returned home. One is not even required to "think" if one doesn't wish to do anything at all! Just relax. Entertainment & ActivitiesActivities: We actually participated in some activities with our 'new' friends and had a lot of fun. Didn't win anything at Bingo but it was still fun.
Entertainment: Surprisingly good. We weren't expecting much. 26 out of 32 people found this review helpful.
