Exceptional service. We had the best din by
A Traveler from Jaffrey, NH, USA Sailing date: Sep 2007Pros: The fine dinning and careing staff. Except for the meet and greet staff at the airport our cruise was nicer than my highest expectations. The ships staff are warm, caring and highly proffessional. I am anxious to take my next cruise. Please work on improving the meet and greet staff as that was my first contact. My initial response was that I could only hope that our cruise wouldn't be such a bad experience. The cruise was great. Dining/Food

  Putting safety first. by
Jeri from Austin, TX Sailing date: Sep 2007Pros: The ship was beautiful, the friendliness and service of the staff outstanding and the entertainment spectacular. Although we were disappointed Hurricane Felix caused us to be rerouted, but we had a wonderful time and were grateful that our safety was the first prioriy. Stateroom Quality

Costa Maya, MexicoGreat place to snorkel.
Took the beack snorkel tour. The water was beyond beleif. We were put in groups, and had a great guide. Very beautiful.
Don't Miss: The snorkeling. Freeport, Grand Bahama IslandNot very exciting.
We took the city tour, and about all we heard about was the new roofs that were being put on houses from the hurricane a few years back.

  Great experience! by
Kim from North Carolina Sailing date: Jul 2007Pros: New, clean furnishings and carpeting. The Liberty was one of the best Carnival ships we've been on, out of 6, with excellent service and clean, comfortable accommodations. The food was excellent, except the midnight buffet was a great disappointment... they've really cut that back. The entertainment on board was the best we've seen... Piano Man bar was awesome, and the combo playing in the lobby was fantastic...keyboard player sang every type of song by every imaginable singer JUST LIKE they were there in front of us?amazing! Only downside was the terrible embarkation process at Port Everglades?they really need to improve that...no other port was ever that poor. Overall, excellent experience... we recommend it to anyone! Dining/FoodExcellent service in dining room.
Stateroom QualityVery clean.

Costa Maya, MexicoCosta Maya low on list.
Was disappointed in Costa Maya... got "taken" by a shore excursion operator when our ship excursion was canceled moments before arrival at the port. Shopping was not great, and port area had a great huge pool, but it was filthy dirty. I'd pick Cozumel or Playa del Carmen over Costa Maya any day.
Freeport, Grand Bahama IslandFreeport not Free... transportation a nightmare.
Dolphin Adventure was excellent, but the transportation to it was awful and the wait for the transportation was too long... one girl got ill due to the heat/fumes. Prices in Freeport for shopping way too high... did not buy a thing as a result.
Don't Miss: Dolphin Encounter. George Town, Grand Cayman
